MODEL STRUCTURE
The major influence of Austria is expressed with clean and elegant lines. Two central doors manfactured with a three-panelings framework. Lacquered with a consumed gesso Bologna, coated with natural clays that penetrates the chalk to achieve an old-wood character. Elegant and original cupboard manufactured and decorated in classic baroque tyrolean style, between the end of eighteenth and the beginning of 19th century.
HISTORICAL NOTES AND MOBILE CURIOSITIES
According to Vangelista Mobili 1960’s informations, the original double leaf door hand-decorated Tyrolean val Badia cupboard is in Valle Aurina, at the Casanova Castle. In mid-18th century, the owner earl Kunigl ordered to build some baroque rooms. The cupboard is close to the entrance door. The earl also established a corporation to help all artisans to manufacture their own products in a sort of workshop.
