MODEL STRUCTURE
The desk is very well located in entrances or small studios and is in the center of the room inlaid on all 4 sides. The front has 5 drawers and a removable central table for reading. The four legs that support the stem are slender and shaped like an "en cabriolet".

RAW MATERIAL
The desk in curved walnut and inlaid in rose wood, 18th century Baroque Venetian Louis XV style, is made of the whole internal structure in solid spruce wood while the external marquetry coating is in walnut wood rigatino, ferrarese walnut and bois de rose. The importance of the desk is given by the thick coating thickness of 4 mm. then veneered as a use in the work of 1700. The handles reproduced from the original desk are handmade bronze.

WORKINGS
The desk is built into the shaft with fir boards cut vertically in the desired shape, glued together so as to form the crowning of the piece of furniture. The fir structure is smoothed with rasps and abrasive paper to make it smooth and perfect shaped. Inlaid in the whole external part with a coarse covering (4 mm thick slab) In streaked walnut with external contour on all sides, in the center a splendid "Ferrarese walnut briar"

The original desk is located inside the Palazzo Malipiero building in the San Marco area of ​​Venice. In the period of its construction, around 1730, the desk was used for the accounting of the building. We retrieved the documentation by noting that stamps of documents and ink stains are imprinted on the desk top. Struck by the elegance and originality of the desk, they decided to reproduce the original piece in two dimensions, modifying only the polishing for a desk that can be inserted into contemporary and classic furnishings. Thanks to the love for Venetian furniture and the experience gained in over 55 years, we are the only Italian company able to reproduce in every detail this desk in curved walnut and inlaid in rose wood, styled '700 Barocco Veneziano Luigi XV.
